An amazing eight years after it first hit the shelves (and some time after it went out of print), This Is A Modern Life (Mod Chronicles Volume One) is getting an updated reissue.
This account of the London mod scene, the work of Enamel Verguren, goes for pretty big money secondhand, so the reissue could be a bit of a bargain, especially at a discounted pre-order price.
The new version is much the same in content, with accounts of the era mixed in with nearly 1000 visuals and more than 200 photos. The new version is described as ‘entirely revised and corrected ‘, with an extra six unissued photos and four pages in colour. There’s also a different cover sleeve.
