I think the term 'mixed response' probably sums up the reaction to This Is England 86. Some love it, some hate it, some just drifted off after the first episode. Anyway, if you happen to be enjoying it and want to enjoy it again and again…well, it's coming out on DVD.

October 11th is the release date for the four-part series, with the original episodes bulked out with extras including behind-the-scenes footage, cast interviews, outtakes, deleted scenes, stills and an audio commentary from Shane Meadows and others associated with the show, which should be interesting.

It sells for £19.99, although Amazon is doing its usual markdowns for pre-orders, knocking that price down to £11.99.
