After a recent outing 'up north' to Leeds, the Vintage Kilo Sale heads to London over the 13th and 14th November 2010.
As the title suggests, you get to buy vintage clobber by weight, with the people behind it claiming to have '1000s of vintage items' from the 60s to the 80s, all available for £15 per kilo. A kilo, for reference, is about 4x summer dresses or a pair or trousers, a t-shirt and a jumper. Alternatively, you can pay per item – see the website for a price list for that or turn up on the day.
You'll find it at The Rag Factory, 16 Heneage Street, London , E1 5LJ (just off Brick Lane, Whitechapel end). £1 gets you in on either day, free entry to trade as long as you buy a minimum of 10kg.
