Out of the archives and into the shop window – that’s the Baracuta Archives 001 G9 Harrington Jacket.
To be honest, I’m not seeing a huge amount of difference between this and the standard G9, which has changed little over the years. But I guess it’s a case of looking close, as according to Baracuta, the Archive 001 has been ‘rediscovered among Baracuta’s historic archives’.
Anyway, this made in England jacket goes by the name of the ‘Original G9” and has the comfortable fit, an external shell in 100% water-repellent cotton, a Fraser Tartan lining, lycra ribbing, small buttons, a ‘slender’ nylon zipper, and the original label. Two pocket at the front and the ‘Umbrella’ back vent naturally.
£255 is the price and the three colour options are the ones you see here.
