We Are The Mods – UK premiere

We first featured it two years back but at last, the US movie We Are The Mods is getting a UK screening.

That screening is part of the Raindance Festival, specifically on Wednesday 6th October from 9:30pm at the Apollo Piccadilly Circus, 19 Regent Street, London, SW1Y 4LR, with tickets selling for £8 with a 'Q&A' to follow – no details of that, but presumably with the director.


If you haven't encountered the movie before (like us), it's an American independent production, the work of director E. E. Cassidy and according to the write-up, focuses on high school student Sadie and 'rebellious and self-assured Nico'. Nico introduces Sadie to 'Mod culture: fashion, European cinema and vintage scooters'. But things go wrong when 'a love triangle develops between the two girls and Nico's boyfriend Tregg'.
