Yes, the timeless boot, which has been around since 1949 but very much associated with the 1960s mod scene, has been given the Gore-Tex treatment. Basically is has been added to the sand suede upper to help it withstand the elements of autumn and winter.
One other difference too, again with winter in mind. The boots now have a new EVA / rubber sole instead of the classic crepe. It might not be the thing for purists, but it definitely means more use in all weather conditions.
