I don’t tend to feature a lot of t-shirts, as the ‘is it mod?’ brigade usually drops by. But as we are in a heatwave, it’s worth mentioning the Flamingo Club t-shirt by Gama Clothing.
Whether a t-shirt is or isn’t mod is down to your personal choice. But when temperatures are hitting 3-0 degrees, knitwear perhaps isn’t the best option. So a t-shirt might be a sensible option.
This one is a limited edition from Gama, a follow-up to a previous limited run in a different colour that sold through. So advance warning for you there if you do fancy this.
The new issue is in a ‘sport grey’ with a black print for the logo. That logo is based on signage from famed Soho nightclub, a Wardour Street hangout for mods and jazz hipsters, plus fans of jazz and R&B. A popular live music venue too, with pretty much anyone who was anyone playing there or watching bands there.
Anyway, back to the t-shirt, which is 100 per cent cotton and in sizes small to extra large. £22 get you one.
