These have been popular for years. And with the temperature dropping, the Fred Perry classic wool tartan scarves are back once more.

Why are they popular? A couple of answers to that. First up, it’s a Fred Perry item and that logo always has appeal. Especially on the Mod scene. Secondly, it’s a timeless look. This would have worked on a scooter in the 1960s and it works on one today. Or if you simply want to keep your neck warm on the way to work.

It should keep your neck warm too as the last reason to buy one (apart from a strong look) is the way this has been made.

Each of the scarves has been Made in Scotland from pure lambswool, which is ethically sourced. It’s a quality product and although not the cheapest scarf put there, this is built to last and to keep you warm for some years to come.

As for the design, take your pick from a number of different tartans. There are plenty to choose from. Tasselled edge, of course.

Have a look at the different shades both here and on the Fred Perry site. If anything catches your eye, expect to pay around £50 for one.
