Modstock 2024 takes place over Easter, celebrating 60 years of Mod from 28th – 31st March across the centre of London.
Yes, six decades of Mod have been and gone, but its influence still remains over fashion, music, art and design today. It perhaps peaked in 1964, but since then, each new generation that discovers Mod has continued to add to the rich tapestry created by the originators and pioneers.
It’s a worldwide scene, too, but it’s perhaps apt to celebrate those 60 years in the city where it all began with a three-day program taking place at 229 and other nearby venues.
Legendary live artists will appear alongside the best new and current talent. After the live acts, the organisers have assembled a DJ line that will keep you moving and grooving till the early hours.
There’s also a Q&A, a scooter rideout, plus a four-hour riverboat party on Sunday afternoon, taking in the sights and sounds of London. Finally, a farewell party sees the weekend put, taking place at the iconic London Mod venue, the Phoenix, just behind Oxford Circus on Sunday night.
