A company I have featured before, but the reprinted 2 Tone tour posters by Bad Moon Prints are new arrivals.

You might recall Bad Moon Prints from the launch and from the posters of The Jam, The Who and the 1979 March of the Mods tour. All are still available if you want to check those out.

The posters are reprints of gigs that took place in Newcastle and Sunderland in the 1970s. The people behind the company worked at the venues, collected the posters and are now reproducing them for fans.

The vast majority are pretty standard gig posters, but still eye-catching in a retro/nostalgic way. Nice things to have and the kind of thing that could pass for originals.

One or two depart a little – and the 2 Tone tour posters, advertising the 2 Tone Tour gig on 9th November 1979 at the Mayfair Suite, go down that road.

Mixing the classic 2 Tone imagery with the traditional gig poster, these look pretty impressive and again, have an authenticity that could pass them for originals. Take your pick from black on white or white on black, with both sized at 30 x 20 inches. If you want bigger you can, but the price is more expensive.

With the David Storey 2 Tone artwork limited edition prints seemingly no longer available, this is probably the best opportunity to pick up something ‘new’ featuring the classic 2 Tone artwork. Both designs would look great in frames too, either individually or together.

As for the price, you are looking at £19.50 for the standard size and £39.99 for the larger 40 x 30-inch poster. Good value and a bit of history for your wall too.
