I’ve seen the odd photo and thought it would be ideal for a winter-into-spring layer or as a jacket when the weather warms up a bit. And seeing the official shots, that opinion doesn’t change at all. Very versatile.

Based loosely on a vintage track jacket (you can probably see a bit of the England 1966 jacket in the blue version), this is a zip-through funnel neck cardigan in a choice of three colours, each of the 100 per cent cotton tops made with a 7 gauge yarn and each with a full zip front and contrasting striped collar, cuffs and hem. That’s it, really. Just enough detail to stand out, which is what makes it work.

As you can see, the colours available are red, off white and sailor blue, all of which appeal in their own way. They are all available to order right now too.

Talking of the price, each one retails for £89 (before the discount), and a full range of sizes is available.
