If you follow us on Facebook, you'll know we flagged up an article in the weekend's Guardian about Chess Records. Well, if you liked that, you'll certainly love the Chess Records documentary on BBC4 this coming Friday.
Going by the name of Roll Over Beethoven – The Chess Records Saga, it screens on Friday 12th November on BBC4 at 9am, alongside some related shows. But this is the main event, focusing on the Chicago label and its blues, soul and jazz output over 60 years.
Expect everyone from Jimmy Page, Mick Hucknall and Chuck D, Paul Jones through to Little Steven and label founder's son Marshall Chess having their say – and we hope, plenty of great archive footage. Set the recorder.
