The web might be a more convenient way of getting news and information, but it has led to a demise in the humble fanzine. We love a fanzine, especially those of the DIY variety – which is what the One.Two.Five fanzine pretty much is.
It mght not look like the most professional out there, but you know it's been put together with a lot of care and attention. Out of Northern Ireland (so a little of the content has a regional slant), the fanzine offers a mix of reviews and features. For the new issue 2, that includes a lot of new bands (Wicked Whispers, House of Dolls, The ethod etc) along with reissue reviews, book reviews, a history of Irish garage and psych, an interview with Mark Tulin of the Electric Prunes and much more besides.
