One of my favourite films is celebrated by this new 1960s Up The Junction t-shirt by Gama Clothing.
Of course, the film is Up The Junction, a classic of its era. Directed by Peter Collinson (who not long after directed The Italian Job), Up The Junction stars Suzy Kendall, with love interest Dennis Waterman showing up in all his Mod glory and with acting support from the likes of Adrienne Posta, Maureen Lipman, Liz Fraser and Hylda Baker. A fantastic cast. A soundtrack by Manfred Mann too that’s pretty decent as well.
One to watch and rematch. If you like the film you might also like this t-shirt, which is a play on the movie poster font, not least when it comes to the word ‘Up’. And we are coming to the time of year that t-shirts come into their own.
Love the font and love the colour choices too, with black on a suitably retro gold background. Medium, large and extra large are the sizes available too.
I like a lot of what Gama does. Indeed, they made the cut when I did a 10 of the best Mod and 1960s t-shirts round-up, which again is worth checking out with summer coming.
But if this catches your eye, £21 is the price.
