Wondering what will happen to the Baracuta Harrington Jacket now the company has been bought out? In some ways, it seems not a lot will change, but in other respects, the brand is likely to go more upmarket and designer. The Baracuta Ivory Label Harrington Jackets show both sides of that.
The company now behind the range, WP Lavori, has been showing off collections at the fashion shows of late, with this Ivory Label likely to land in the shops in late summer.

Apparently, the jackets within it have been updated with contemporary materials and detailing, without straying too far from the original concept. A leather Harrington is interesting (but not a new idea), with the other designs in either brown or green, with Fraser tartan and Coolmax linings.
I’ve spared you the Baracuta pyjamas – yes, the range has other non-Harrington designs too and there’s no mention of price yet. But I suspect prices will beer more expensive than the old Baracuta – that’s the way the brand looks to be heading.
Images are via Selectism, which also has details of another ‘designer’ range called Blue Label. That’s certainly not going to be cheap.
