This is a new selection of snaps from the August Bank Holiday event. You might recall I also featured some wonderful photos of the weekend by Chris Wild. Those are well worth checking out, as are these.

This selection of images focuses primarily on the scooter rideout rather than the people (you’ll see more people in the Chris Wild photos). But it’s nice to have a contrast and a different pair of eyes for the same event,

John Coles is a professional photographer from the Midlands and as you might have worked out from the photos here, mixes traditional photography work with shots of the local scooter scenes in the Coventry and Warwickshire area.

In the 70ts i too was a mod and had a complete striped down TV175 Lambreta got one Photo in Black and whit must admit it looks good and I look the business? hardly any cars on the road then, got nicked so many times DVLA had to add extra pages on my red driving licence as their was no room for all the endorsement to fit It was fun Still got the old licence, I know have an LI 150 haven’t used it for years getting to old for that sort of thing?
