They don’t come cheap, but the Clarks Originals 65th anniversary limited edition desert boots do come with a good amount of exclusivity.
You’ll be in a club of 1,950 people owning a pair. That’s how many of the boots are being made, with each pair hand numbered showing you which pair you have. Why that number? That’s when the boot was first introduced (but you probably guessed that) – this is the boot’s 65th birthday as well as the 190th anniversary of Clarks.
They also come with a unique box, spare leather laces, socks courtesy of everyone’s favourite sock maker Trickett, suede cleaner and illustrations. All of which you can see above.
In terms of the classic boot itself, that’s made in England using the same machines that were making the boots decades ago. In fact, the same as when the boot was introduced in 1950.
As we said, the boots are a premium release and the kind of thing you probably want to put away as a collector’s piece. They go on sale tomorrow (1st July 2015) priced at £249. Video also below.
