It might not be until next year, but the 50 Years of The Who photo exhibition by Colin Jones at Proud Galleries is early next year, so you might want to scribble it into your diary.
It takes place from 5th February – 23rd March 2013, celebrating 50 years of the band with internationally renowned photographer Colin Jones, who has chronicled the band over the years due to a close friendship with band members. That has allowed him unlimited access both onstage and at home – getting some candid (and classic) imagery as a result.
We have picked up a couple of photos from the Colin Jones Photography site (which highlights the photographer’s impressive wider range). Pretty sure both will be on show and in much better quality than you will see on a computer screen.
Bottom line – this is likely to be a must-see for anyone in the capital. Full details are yet to be published, but keep an eye on the Proud website, which should have a preview as we enter into the new year.
