eBay watch: Mods issue of The Sunday Times Colour Magazine 1964

It’s one of those much sought after mod items – and someone knows it judging by the price of The Sunday Times Colour Magazine from 2nd August 1964.

This is the edition of the magazine that featured the Changing Faces article on mods and rockers, the work of Robert Freeman and Kathleen Halton. it has been copied online (see here for an extract of it). But if you want the actual thing, then the magazine is available on eBay right now.

But it is far from cheap. In fact, it’s incredibly pricey. The 50+ year old magazine, which is described as being in ‘extremely good condition’ is up for sale for £229.99. You can also make a cheaper offer, but how much cheaper I can’t say.

Interesting to see many of the full-page scans though, regardless of the asking price.
