Nothing in terms of rarities. But if you want the original vinyl albums all neatly packaged into a single box with a 12-page booklet, then this is the set for you.
No, it isn’t cheap, but when has a vinyl reissue ever been all that cheap? We’ve long since left the ‘Nice Price’ budget album behind. Vinyl is a premium product and is likely to remain as such.
Brian Auger, Julie Driscoll and The Trinity remain a Mod favourite. Not least because it was a band unafraid to break down musical barriers, as well as one that could still fill a dance floor.
Jazz, R&B, pop, even a bit of pysch. Brian Auger, Julie Driscoll and The Trinity were not afraid to mix it up. All of that and a vocalist in Julie Driscoll who was also a style icon of the day.
The albums collected here are Open (1967), Definitely What! (1968), Streetnoise (1969) and Befour (1970). So five slabs of vinyl (one is a double) and an accompanying 12-page booklet.
That’s all the information I have so far, but I think that’s pretty much it. as I said, I don’t think there’s anything extra in terms of the music. It’s all about the packaging and the reissued vinyl, which has been remastered.
