Looks like a movie of Keith Moon’s life is currently being developed, with Roger Daltrey involved in the project.
According to Billboard, a still-untitled biopic of The Who’s drummer is currently being planned by Exclusive Media and Da Vinci Media Ventures. Roger Daltrey has apparently ‘been collaborating’ on the biopic, which would cover Moon’s short life and career. Sounds like early days though, as the company behind it is still looking to commission a writer to pen the script.
‘The Keith Moon project is one close to my heart so I am excited to reinvigorate it,’ Daltrey said in a statement.
Wendy Rutland of Da Vinci added: ‘I am a massive Who fan and consider Keith Moon to be the greatest rock drummer of all time. I could feel Roger’s passion and detailed perspective for this unique story after our first phone call. We are excited to be topping up our deal with Exclusive, and look forward to growing the relationship.’
