These were in the range seven or eight years back, so nice to see silk knitted ties at Uniqlo once more.
Not that there is much of a selection right now. Just two designs and both fairly formal in look. But considering these are silk, they are priced right considering Peckham Rye sells knitted silk toes for around £65.
You can get cheaper knitted ties online. In fact, Amazon does a great range of budget knitted ties in a variety of designs and patterns and from just £4.99 each.
If you want something for work that you can rotate regularly, get a few of those in if you live with the polyester (which is pretty much like most of the vintage knitted ties out there).
But if you like the idea of silk, choose from the plain blue or the white stripe on blue (which seems low in stock) you see here, with both selling for £14.90. Yes, you pay more – but this is a premium product and as I said, far cheaper than many of the silk knitted ties out there. Hopefully, the range will expand over the coming weeks or months.
