Great to see new designs from this label, including the Steve Marriott-inspired crew neck sweater by Art Gallery Clothing.
As you might have guessed, it is called Magic and is based on a piece of knitwear worn by Steve Marriott during his Small Faces tenure. If you want some photographic evidence, scroll down the page for a sleeve design for All Or Nothing. Yes, Steve is wearing a sweater that is not dissimilar to this one.
You don’t have to wear the same colour as Steve Marriott. You could go for the alternate cooler scheme on offer, which uses blue and white rather than red and white. Personally, I prefer that, but as always, it’s down to personal taste.
There is not much else to add, really, except that the colour block sweater is 100 per cent cotton, so it is ideal for the warmer season and is available in sizes from small through to XXL. It’s also just arrived on the shelves of Art Gallery Clothing, along with some other new knits that I’ll be focusing on very soon.
As I said, it’s great to see new designs from AGC after all this time. It’s one of the most-loved Mod brands out there.
