Last on the shelves back in 2014, the 1970s Adidas Bern City Series trainers finally return to the shelves.

Two pieces of good news attached to this reissue too. First off, the design is faithful to the 1970s original and secondly, the shoes are not exclusive to a single retailer. Which means there is a far better chance of picking up a pair this time out.

On the downside, the price has bumped up a little since the last time they were made available. More on that in a moment.

First up, let’s focus on the Bern itself, which is a style that was part of the much-loved City Series and dating back to the late 1970s. It isn’t the last City Series design we will see this year with the Adidas London being readied for a reissue. But this is the next one coming your way.

Expect the royal blue upper in suede, bold green detailing and a gum sole, with the gold branding confirming the Bern name to the side. The ridged tongue is the finishing touch to a shoe that is stylish in its simplicity.

As I said, this is a style that will be available widely (like the recent Adidas Brussels), with all the retailers stocking those likely to have the Bern in stock too.

The original release was set for 4th May, but that was put back, but the Bern is available now.

All sizes can be found at the End Clothing website for £89.
