We've not yet seen a finished copy, but the early reviews have been very positive about Circles: The Strange Story of the Fleur De Lys, Britain's Forgotten Soul Band by Paul Anderson and Damian Jones. If that's enough for you, the book is now available to buy.

If you missed our earlier articles, this Acid Jazz-published book looks at one of the great unsung mod bands of the 60s, charting the Southampton band's journey from soul hopefuls through to mod/freakbeat legends – their cover of The Who's 'Circles' and their own 'Mud In Your Eye' will set you back well over £600.

Authors Paul Anderson and Damian Jones have interviewed every surviving member to tell the  band's story, taking some bigger names too, including Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Aretha Franklin and The Who. Amazon has the 128-page book in stock, priced at £12.34.
