These got quite a reaction a while back when we got a sneak peak, but now the Fred Perry x Blank Canvas cycling shirts have been officially unveiled – and are coming to the shelves soon.

A cycling shirt is a classic that's long been seen as mod attire, but these are cycling tops with a difference. The range consists of four shirts, the headline act being the Winter collar shirt (pictured above) with 'Champion' striping across the middle and small, zipped rear pocket.

Other styles include the turquoise Winter collar shirt with black and white striped collar and cuffs and small, zipped rear pocket, the orange amber, white and black standard ribbed collar colour blocked shirt with three buttoned large rear pocket and the ivy standard ribbed collar shirt with red, yellow and black striped collar and cuffs also with a three buttoned large rear pocket.

All will be displayed in the Laurel Wreath shops alongside fifty vintage classic cycling jerseys in merino wool from the 60s, if you want to check out some originals. They are available to buy now at End Clothing, priced from £65. Check out the other designs below.

The white with the “world colours” is nice, as is the blue, however, they are very over priced. You can get a classic knitted cycling jersey on ebay in good condition from five pounds. Also, you can get a classic custom made retro merino wool long sleeved jersey from Oregon Portland Cycle Wear mail order for $75 + $15 postage. There are also other cycle jersey manufacturers starting to make retro style jerseys in merino wool.
