This is an absolute gem, with this Levi’s Vintage 1960s-style knitted shirt looking like a vintage piece pulled straight from the era.

In a way it is, because this is part of the Levi’s Vintage range, which tends to be pieces pulled from the archive of that particular company. This one is obviously from the section marked ’1960s’.

According to the company, this knit is inspired by the Jamaican rockers and rude boys who travelled abroad in the 1950s and 1960s in search of the latest music and fashion to take back to Kingston. Of course, a good few stayed in those new destinations, enhancing both the musical landscape and the clothing scene as a result.

Just the green available (presumably because green was the archive colour), with each a long-sleeved top with full-button front, polo collar and contrasting shades of colour on the front. Some nice covered buttons too, plus a button on the back of the collar and the vintage Levi’s label inside.

It is constructed from a 70 per cent wool and 30 per cent cotton mix and available now, but selling fast, despite the price. That price is £150.

Note that there is also an Isaacs knitted sweater in blue in the same range too.
