When we flagged up the promotional video for the upcoming Hardy Amies range, it seemed to go down very well. On the evidence of these Hardy Amies tassel loafers, the clobber might go down well too. With the possible exception of the price.
Forget all these outlets for ‘mod shoes’, this is a classic and timeless loafer that oozes mod style – and a shoe made in the right way. It has been produced in conjunction with quality heritage shoemaker Alfred Sargent, bench made in Northampton using a grain leather for the upper and leather for the sole. It’s offered in a choice of burgundy or black.
As we said, there’s little to dislike, with the exception of the price. All that work doesn’t come cheap and in this case, we’re talking £395 for a pair.
