It isn’t cheap, but this Levi’s Vintage Highland Suede Trucker Jacket is a thing of beauty if you have the cash.
Part of the new Levi’s Vintage Clothing range, which is always worth keeping an eye on, this is the classic trucker jacket from the mid-20th century given a premium makeover courtesy of that highland suede finish.
Like all sure jackets, it would need some looking after. But if you do that, this should look amazing for years to come. I’ve got vintage suede jackets from the 1960s that still catch the eye. Although none in suede as light in colour as this one.
It’s a heritage design, so not a lot has changed except for one thing. It has now been updated with side pockets. That’s pretty much it. Outside of that, there is a double-pleated front, an adjustable cinch back, a woven tab, and two chest pockets.
The fit is described as ‘relaxed’ rather than slim, and the price for one of these is £249. So something of an investment, and it should pay off if you look after it. Something like this never dates.

Note that Levi’s also has a black leather version of this jacket too.
